Overview

KA KHA GA NGA HALL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

In order to walk the talk, we have provided Buddhist dharma and Tibetan language courses to the Tibetan living in Taiwan, as it is truly critical that we preserve our culture and religion. Tibetan culture and Buddhism have always been the identity of Tibetan people. With this mind, many discussions and meetings occurred between Taiwan Tibetan Welfare Association and Taiwan International Tibetan Buddhism Study Institute on how to work toward the goal of preserving Tibetan Culture, language and religion. The Institute has took the main responsibility to facilitate a new hall, Ka Kha Ga Nga Hall, for the Tibetans living in Taiwan, where important religious functions are organised and activities related to the preservation of Tibetan culture and language are arranged. The hall is also utilised for introducing Buddhism to the local elderly Tibetans and teaching Tibetan language courses to the younger generation of Tibetans living in Taiwan.
